I founded M2 Trust Law, APC after years of working with probate properties and seeing firsthand what can happen when a family doesn’t have a plan in place.
Probate is the court process families may have to go through to transfer property and other assets after someone passes away. It can be slow, expensive, stressful, and can force families to make important financial decisions at the worst possible time.
Over the years, I kept seeing the same thing: hardworking people had spent decades building something for their families—a home, a business, savings, retirement accounts—but had never gotten around to protecting it.
They weren’t irresponsible. They were busy working, raising kids, paying mortgages, running businesses, and living their lives. Estate planning was simply something they always figured they would take care of later.
I understand that because I’m wired the same way. When I’m not working, I’d rather be outside with my boys—riding dirt bikes, surfing, boating, fishing, traveling, and looking for the next adventure. Life gets busy fast, and planning for what happens someday is easy to put off.
But the reality is that the things we work hard to build are worth protecting.
I created M2 Trust Law to make estate planning straightforward, practical, and accessible for everyday California families. You worked hard for what you have. A good estate plan helps make sure it goes to the people you want, the way you want, without creating an unnecessary burden for your family.
If you don’t have a plan in place yet, now is the time to get it done right.
That’s why I built M2 Trust Law, APC.
“If you don’t have a plan in place yet, now is the time to get it done right.”
Sarah McGill
Sarah plays a key role at M2 Trust Law, APC, ensuring each client experience is seamless, detail-driven, and handled with care.
She spent over two decades at PwC, one of the world’s leading accounting firms, where precision, structure, and attention to detail were essential every day.
That same level of discipline carries into her work today—ensuring every trust is thoughtfully organized, documents are handled with accuracy, and nothing is overlooked.
Just as important, Sarah brings a genuine focus on people and family. She understands that behind every plan is a family that depends on it, and she approaches each client with patience, clarity, and care.
“If you’re ready to get organized and put a plan in place, we’re here to guide you through it.”
